X-ray grids provide clearer radiographic images by trapping scattered radiation, the biggest contributing factor to poor diagnostic quality. Introducing an x-ray grid between the x-ray beam and the film or plate will provide a clearer and more detailed image. Many sizes available. Optional grid protectors available.

Grids are expensive and fragile, it is recommended that they are incorporated into a fixed system to protect the grid and maintain proper alignment.  This can be achieved by adding the grid to a grid protector or a DR CR panel protector.  The grid protector system also provides more consistent results and makes setup more efficient.
